16 large Lykkegaard propeller pumps are ready for delivery. They will be forwarded to Norway to be part of a newly established land-based RAS fishfarm for salmon breeding. The pumps are type LMPump FRESH PR 600/700 Inline, 830 l/sec. 4.5 vs. and 75 kW motor.

RAS – Recirculated Aquaculture System – is a closed high-tech land-based aquaculture unit that circulates, cleans and reuses the water to achieve the least possible volume of ground water used and to avoid spills and sea pollution.

A RAS system is a solution of the future, developed, used and exported by innovative Danish fish farms. Through this technology, they can breed fish on land in a closed system with complete production control and a minimum of nutrient release. Supplying healthy and good fish, high food safety and production as a result – and with the smallest possible environmental footprint.

Enabling easy customer installation, the pumps include premounted suspension. When the propeller pumps arrive, they can be fitted directly on the plant with the included assembly equipment and digital video guide.
